Who can apply for the pass

Approval of the pass application will be given only to those who are either in essential service or in any emergency service. Different color passes will be issued for different services. People are eligible for pass application like industry / manufacturing, door to door, wholesale / retail, private sector, essential government service, medical service and other emergency needs.

How to apply

To apply, one can first download the app through Google Play Store. For this, you can search 'Pragyaam' by going to Google Play Store. After this, 'Grid by Pragyam' will appear in the search result. Download it to your phone. After this, open the app and click on the Jharkhand e pass. With this, you can be logged into the app by filling in the login details.After this, click on 'Vehicle e pass'. Click on the blue + button appearing on the right. Fill the complete form. Enter OTP After this, your pass link will be sent to you via SMS. This pass is valid in e-format. With this, you will also have to show a valid ID card.

How will the officer investigate

During the investigation you can show either a print out of the pass or an e-pass. After this, you will be asked for an ID card. After the ID card, the investigative officer will match your e-pass number to your number through the respective app. In this, the name and mobile number of the pass holder will be matched. If you show any irregularity or fake pass, necessary legal action can be taken against you under relevant sections.For the approval of the pass, various district level officials have been given the command of pass approval in different categories. Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Rai Mahimapat Ray said, “E-pass system has been released to provide all the necessary goods to the common people. Under this, pass will be issued through this app for vehicles engaged in essential services such as vehicles used for transporting ration, vehicles for medicines, medical services and other essential services. ”
